Meet Katze!
The Newport Beach Animal Shelter is excited to introduce Katze, a 12-year-old black and white cat who’s looking for a quiet, loving home to call his own. Katze may be a little shy right now, but we know that with some patience and care, he’ll come out of his shell and show his sweet personality.
Katze’s favorite thing to do at the shelter? Snuggling under his blanket, where he feels safe and secure. This gentle guy loves the comfort of being tucked in. At the moment, Katze is also working on his health as he begins a weight loss journey. While he may be carrying a few extra pounds, he’s getting all the care he needs to shed some weight and live a healthier, happier life.
Katze would do best in a peaceful, quiet home where he can take his time adjusting to new surroundings.
If you’re interested in meeting Katze and giving him a forever home, please contact the Newport Beach Animal Shelter at 949-718-3454 or email ACO@NBPD.org to schedule an appointment.
Meet Evie!
Evie, a 4-month-old terrier mix, is looking for her forever home and is now available for adoption at Newport Beach Animal Shelter. This little pup is full of energy and curiosity and is already vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
While she’s still young and will need training, Evie has been making great progress. She just went on her first leash walk with our volunteers this week, and she’s soaking up everything she’s learning. Volunteers have had a blast spending time with her, and we know she’ll thrive with the right family.
If you’re interested in meeting Evie, please contact the animal shelter at 949-718-3454 or email ACO@NBPD.org to schedule an appointment.
Meet Jack!
The Newport Beach Animal Shelter is excited to introduce Jack, a stunning 4-year-old Siberian Husky looking for his forever home! Recently surrendered by his previous owner (through no fault of his own), Jack is a mellow, friendly boy who gets along well with other dogs and is incredibly photogenic. If you’re searching for a loyal companion, Jack could be your perfect match!
If you’re interested in adopting Chachi, please contact us at 949-718-3454 or email ACO@NBPD.org to schedule an appointment.
Meet Chachi!
He is a 6-year-old male Chihuahua who is now available for adoption. He is a sweet and loving boy who has a bit of a grudge against men, but don’t let that fool you—he’s incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle. He also walks well on a leash, making him the perfect companion for leisurely strolls.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the incredible support of the @friendsofnbanimalshelter, Chachi was able to under go much-needed dental work, having 17 teeth pulled. He’s feeling so much better now and is ready to meet his forever family.
If you’re interested in adopting Chachi, please contact us at 949-718-3454 or email ACO@NBPD.org to schedule an appointment.
Meet Reggie!
The Newport Beach Animal Shelter is excited to introduce Reggie, a 4-month-old male Domestic Shorthair mix, who is now available for adoption. Reggie is a neutered kitten with a sweet temperament and a playful nature. He enjoys the company of other cats and is eager to find a loving forever home.
Reggie’s affectionate personality and youthful energy make him an ideal companion for families or individuals looking to add a feline friend to their lives. For more information or to schedule a visit, please contact the Newport Beach Animal Shelter at 949-718-3454 or email ACO@NBPD.org
Animal Control Services and the Animal Shelter are managed by the Newport Beach Police Department.
The Shelter has the requisite staff, amenities, and volunteers to ensure that the animals experience a comfortable, healthy environment while at the Shelter.
Animals may be lost, abandoned, strayed, owner turn-ins, or emergency placement due to owner accident, illness, incarceration, or natural disaster. Many are successfully returned to their own homes, while others are placed in forever homes through adoption.
Animal Control Officers are assisted by volunteers in the care and socialization of animals in residence.
